Submit your Designs to TeeStitch Apparel

Creative Freedom for Designers

We believe the best designs come from creative freedom. At TeeStitch Apparel, we give designers the space to create what inspires them, with no strict guidelines or limitations. Here’s how we approach our relationship with designers:

  • Our designers are all unique, and we value the diversity each brings. We strive to create an environment where your art gets the recognition it deserves. By being part of TeeStitch, your work isn’t just on garments; it’s celebrated and shared with our global audience.
  • Designers have complete freedom to create what moves them.
  • We choose designs directly from your portfolio. This is a great opportunity to turn unsold designs into profit.
  • We often purchase designs in bulk, curating a collection that reflects diverse artistic styles, regions, and spiritual backgrounds.

Join Our Creative Journey

At TeeStitch Apparel, we’re passionate about celebrating creativity from all over the world. We work with designers who have unique, ready-to-go designs that align with our brand’s mission and values. If you’re a designer with amazing pieces that haven’t yet found a home, we’d love to see what you’ve got!

Here’s the thing: we don’t offer design briefs or collaboration requests. Instead, we look for existing designs in your portfolio, whether they’re something you created recently or a piece that’s been waiting for the right opportunity. We buy designs in bulk or individually, depending on what works best for both sides.

We also understand that pricing can vary significantly between designers, especially across different regions. Please let us know your pricing upfront for individual designs and bulk purchases to help us determine if we’re the right fit. This makes the process smoother for everyone and helps us focus on the designs that align with our vision and budget.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Submit Your Info
Please fill out the short form below with your name, contact information, and links to where your artwork is displayed. This could be a personal website, a portfolio platform, or a social media account that features your designs. This will help us review your work quickly and safely.

Step 2: We’ll Review Your Work
If we see something that stands out, we’ll contact you by email or direct message to ask about availability and pricing.

Step 3: If It’s a Match, We’ll Make a Purchase
If your artwork is available and the pricing works within our budget, we'll proceed with a one-time purchase. We purchase full commercial rights, which means the design must not have been sold before and cannot be resold or reused after the sale. We respect the value of your work and never ask artists to lower their prices. We simply purchase what fits.

Step 4: Final Details for Promotion
If we proceed with a purchase, we’ll send you a second form to collect a few extra details such as how you'd like your name displayed, your social links, and a short artist statement. This information helps us prepare for future artist features and may be used if you're selected for our Illustrator of the Month spotlight.

What We’re Looking For: A Quick Checklist

To make sure the submission process is smooth and efficient, we have a few important guidelines to follow. Below is a quick checklist of what we’re looking for in the designs submitted to TeeStitch Apparel. Following these guidelines ensures that your designs meet the quality and technical standards we need for our products.

  • High-Definition Designs: All designs should be submitted in high resolution (300 DPI) to ensure great print quality.
  • File Formats: Provide the original design files (AI, PSD, or Affinity) along with PNG, SVG, EPS, and PDF exports.
  • Color Mode: Use CMYK for print, with optional RGB versions for web previews.
  • Size and Dimensions: Ensure designs are scalable for different product sizes (at least 12"x16")
  • Print Compatibility: Optimize your designs for Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing, and avoid using internal transparent layers.
  • Pricing: Please include your pricing for individual pieces and bulk orders in your initial submission.
  • Mockups: If possible, send mockups showing how the design will look on apparel, especially on different fabric colors.

Terms for Design Submissions & Purchases

We like to keep things simple and straightforward when it comes to purchasing designs. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Exclusivity: Once we purchase a design, TeeStitch Apparel gains full exclusive rights. This means the design has not been sold or licensed to any other entity before the purchase and will not be sold or licensed to anyone else after the purchase. We take pride in offering exclusive designs that can only be found at TeeStitch.
  • Commercial Rights: We retain the right to use the design commercially on our products and in promotions worldwide.
  • Originality: By submitting a design, you confirm it is your original creation, free from any third-party intellectual property claims.
  • No Licensed Content: Designs must not include licensed characters, logos, brand names, or copyrighted text.
  • Commercial-Use Assets Only: Fonts, brushes, and design elements must be cleared for commercial use.
  • No AI-Generated Art: We do not accept designs created with AI tools.
  • Payments via PayPal Business Only: We process all design purchases through PayPal Business for security and fraud prevention. We never use PayPal personal accounts, ensuring a safe and transparent transaction for both parties.
  • Design Transfers via Google Drive: We prefer using Google Drive for design submissions. This allows you to share multiple files without worrying about size limitations, ensuring an efficient and seamless transfer process.

Let’s Talk About Your Designs

Note: As we continue to grow, some features, such as promoting and showcasing designers, will be rolled out gradually. We are committed to providing opportunities for our collaborators, and these features are part of our future plans.

Because your designs are a reflection of your creativity, we’d love for you to share a few extra details:

  • Design Names: Each design is unique, and we want to know what you’ve called them. Please include names for all your submissions.
  • Logo & Professional Name: If you have a logo or professional name, feel free to share it. We may use it if we feature and promote your work in the future.
  • Where You’re From: We love showcasing the diversity of our designer network. Let us know where you’re based to highlight the global reach of our collection.
  • Artist Bio: A short artist bio helps us introduce you to our community. Please share a few sentences about your creative journey, background, and influences. This bio will be included whenever we feature your work, giving our audience more insight into your creative story.
  • Social Media or Website Links: We want to support you beyond TeeStitch Apparel. Including your social media or website links allows us to direct traffic your way and help connect you with potential clients or fans.
  • Artist's Spotlight: We’re excited to introduce a special Illustrator of the Month feature. Selected artists will have their designs showcased prominently across our social media and website. This will include a spotlight with an artist interview or a story to share more about your creative journey. We believe in recognizing our illustrators' talents and helping them reach a broader audience.
  • Coming Soon: In addition to the Artist's Spotlight feature, we will actively promote each illustrator who collaborates with us. Your name and links to your social media or website will be featured on our website, giving your work more visibility and helping connect you with potential clients or fans. It’s our way of giving back to the creative community and helping artists thrive in their careers.

Limited-Edition & Retired Designs

Limited-Edition Designs & Art Authentication-Coming Soon!

TeeStitch is thrilled to work with artists on exclusive, limited-edition designs. Each of these designs will be part of a limited run (e.g., 50 pieces), and every purchase will come with a letter of authenticity, specifying the piece's number in the collection (e.g., 10 of 50). We also retire certain designs to keep our offerings fresh and unique, helping maintain exclusivity for our customers and a rotating platform for our artists. This means your designs not only become part of someone’s wardrobe but are also seen as collectible pieces of wearable art.
