We are committed to supporting the art community by sourcing our designs from illustrators from around the world. We believe that everyone has the potential to be an artist, and we want to help create opportunities for talented illustrators to share their work with the world. We are particularly committed to representing the diversity of the art community and the importance of showcasing different cultures and perspectives. We are also committed to compensating illustrators fairly for their work by paying the asking price dictated by the illustrator. We believe that by supporting illustrators, we are helping to create a more vibrant and inclusive art community.

Our Process

Print on demand

Each product in TeeStitch Apparel's catalog is print-on-demand (POD). Once you place an order, we produce it specifically for you. This method allows us to avoid overproduction and textile waste, and we pride ourselves on being part of the sustainable fashion movement. We take great pride in our sustainable process, which is why our production and shipping times are slightly longer. Despite its time, it is worth the trade-off if it helps the planet. We hope you feel the same way, too.

Direct To Garment

Many of our products are printed with the direct-to-garment (DTG) technique, which is a printing method where ink is first sprayed directly onto the garment, and then it soaks into the fabric. It’s like printing on paper, but on clothing. DTG printing uses less water and energy than other printing methods, and it produces less waste. DTG printers can produce high-quality prints with fine detail and vibrant colors on a wide variety of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blends.

Printers and Inks

For printing, we use Kornit printers that generate almost zero wastewater and use less energy than standard industry printers, which lowers our carbon footprint. The inks we use for printing are Oeko-Tex™ certified, vegan, water-based, and free of harmful chemicals. TeeStitch Apparel takes sustainability seriously, that’s why we take care to properly dispose of any left-over ink according to the ink supplier guidelines.

Packaging

All apparel products are packed in post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailers. The amount of PCR in the packaging will differ depending on where your order gets printed, and the type of bags used. PCR packaging is made from everyday items, like used plastic bags and bottles. This material protects your order just as well as regular plastic bags, however, choosing PCR over first-use plastics reduces the environmental impact plastic has on our planet.

We are committed to using sustainable materials and practices to produce our clothing. We use 100% organic ring-spun cotton for t-shirts, 85% organic ring-spun combed cotton, 15% recycled polyester for our hoodies/sweatshirts, and 100% organic cotton for our totes.

Ethics

We are committed to fair-trade practices in the production of our clothing. We work with suppliers that pay their workers a fair wage and provide them with safe working conditions. We also avoid using any animal products or byproducts in our products.

We are committed to creating a brand that is inclusive for everyone. We design our clothes for people of all sizes, shapes, and abilities. We also work with models of all backgrounds to represent the diversity of our customers.

Less Waste

We are committed to sustainability, and we believe that every garment deserves a second chance. That's why we do not throw away our less-than-perfect products. Instead, we donate them to charities and homeless shelters. This helps to reduce textile waste and keeps our clothes out of landfills.
