No More Social Media!

No More Social Media!

  • September 10, 2026
We’re done because social media doesn't reflect who we are, how we want to operate, or the kind of relationship we want with the people who support us.

For many years, businesses have been told they need social media to be taken seriously. If you are not posting, then you are invisible. If you are not active, people will doubt whether you are legitimate. If you are not continually producing content, then you are falling behind.

We are told to post constantly. Make videos. Follow trends. Be entertaining. Be vulnerable. Be polished. Be casual. Be available. Be everywhere. Then, even when people choose to follow us, they often don't see what we share, even if we pay to boost it or run ads.

That is not a connection. That is a paywall between us and the people who already asked to hear from us.

A business shouldn't have to perform every day on a platform to prove it exists. Artists should not have to turn their work into endless content. Customers should not have to sort through noise, ads, outrage, comparison, and manipulation just to find something genuine.

We are told social media builds trust. We are told it creates community. We are told it gives a business credibility. That’s bullshit! These platforms just want us to be a cog in their toxic wheel of manipulation, and we refuse to continue to be a part of the problem.

We are not interested in hiring someone we cannot afford just to keep feeding a platform that has never meaningfully supported our business. We are not interested in creating endless posts that disappear in minutes. We are not interested in measuring our value by reach, likes, saves, comments, or whether a platform decides we deserve to be seen that day.

We don’t believe credibility comes from posting every day. Anyone can do that with AI and a post scheduler. Credibility comes from following through on your word, being clear about who you are, and being honest and straightforward about how you conduct business. Ultimately, it’s about treating people with respect.

That is what we are choosing.

Our focus is simple: exclusive artwork from global illustrators, offered on planet-friendly apparel. We care more about the work, the artists, the product, and the people who genuinely connect with it than about growth for growth's sake.

TeeStitch is not trying to become a big brand. We are not trying to go viral. We are not trying to be cool, famous, trendy, or constantly visible. That has never been the point.

If one person finds us through word of mouth, that means more to us than being pushed in front of thousands of people who never asked to see us. If someone chooses to come back because they believe in what we offer, that matters more than a viral post ever could.

So we are stepping away.

From now on, TeeStitch will live where it should have lived all along: on our website.

That does not mean we are replacing social media with constant emails, scheduled updates, or another channel demanding your attention. We are not interested in doing that either.

If there is something worth sharing, it will be on our website.

If you have a question about a product, you can ask it publicly on that product page, and we will answer publicly. Real humans will answer, not AI. If you need help with something more specific, you can contact us directly through the website.

We have not decided what will happen to our older posts. They may stay up, or they may not. Either way, this account will no longer be where we launch, promote, or try to prove that TeeStitch exists.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us here. We appreciate every follow, message, order, share, and kind word.

But we are done giving our time, money, creativity, and attention to platforms that have taken far more from people and small businesses than they have ever given back.
